The GDR is still young, but Thomas Brasch (Albrecht Schuch) already doesn't fit in. It is above all his father Horst (Jörg Schüttauf), who wants to help build the new German state. But Thomas, the eldest son, would rather become a writer. Thomas is a dreamer, obsessive and a rebel.
Filming of the Netflix action thriller series recently began with Jella Haase (Kidnapping Stella, Berlin Alexanderplatz) as the leading actress. In addition to Jella Haase, Dimitrij Schaad, Vladimir Burlakov, Thandi Sebe, Marta Sroka, Julius Feldmeier and Jürgen Heinrich can also be seen in other roles. The idea for the series comes from the showrunners HaRiBo (Hanno Hackfort, Richard Kropf, Bob Konrad) and author Elena Senft. Zeitsprung Pictures is responsible for production with executive producers Michael Souvignier and Till Derenbach. Viviane Andereggen (character assassination, Die Drei !!!) and Jano Ben Chaabane (blindly determined - alive buried, Mapa) are directing, while Martin Langer and Tobias Koppe act behind the camera. The shooting takes place in Berlin and Mallorca.
The bitter struggle of two brewery clans for social and economic supremacy in Munich in 1900 is the focus of the six-part, historical event series "Oktoberfest - 1900" (AT) (BR / ARD Degeto / WDR / MDR). Filming started in Prague in May. In front of the camera are - among many others - Mišel Maticevic, Martina Gedeck and Francis Fulton-Smith. Shooting is expected to take place in the Czech Republic, Bavaria and North Rhine-Westphalia until mid-August. The series will be shown in double episodes in 2020 in the first.
On May 7th, 2021 the last flap fell for the SWR tragic comedy "Familienerbe", which Holger Haase staged based on a script by Simone Kollmorgen. Ulrike C. Tscharre, Christina Hecke and Lucas Prisor play three siblings who return to their parents' house on Lake Constance after the death of their parents in order to settle the inheritance by mutual agreement. But old rivalries and conflicts soon break out again. The broadcast is planned for 2022 in the first and in the ARD media library.
